indiepodfest is a festival for independent, or aspiring, audio creators and podcast fans. As the podcast charts become increasingly crowded with commerically-produced shows and the output of big broadcasters and major networks, indiepodfest seeks to create a space for independent audio creators to share and shine. We believe in the DIY nature of podcasting – a platform with limitless possibilities for self publication and creativity. There’re no networks or brands; just practical, grassroots information and inspiration for your podcasting passion.

The first indiepodfest will be held in Melbourne over a single weekend in July (date to be confirmed), with workshops, panels and live podcast events for all types of independent creators, aspiring creators and their fans.
