indiepodfest is pleased to present a report of our 2019 expression of interest survey. The survey was open for the month of February and promoted through social media podcasting groups and channels, resulting in 109 responses. These results directly influenced the choice of festival venue, panels and workshops that have been programmed.

“The festival acknowledges the number of responses in no way represents the breadth and depth of the independent podcasting community in Australia, but hopes that, with the securing of funding, the reach of the festival will be much broader in its second year. The programming team has tried to recognise gaps to make the festival as inclusive and inspiring as possible for all kinds of audio makers, established and emerging.”

indiepodfest is a brand new independent podcasting festival coming to Melbourne in July 2019.
